Welcome to Macon Creek Project

Macon Creek Project is a small farm project just outside Saline, MI built by friends with a vision of uniting natural beauty, creativity, and community through thoughtful cultivation and curation.

Over the next 2 years, we’re converting two acres of commercially farmed field into a Michigan native wildflower and grass prairie and planting thousands of sunflowers, cosmos, zinnia, yarrow and more all using sustainable no-till methods.

We’re also growing natural dye-flowers to support local artisans and, perhaps most exciting of all, we’re rehabilitating a vineyard consisting of one-hundred 45 year-old Catawba, Concord and Niagara wine grape vines that have been overgrown by trees. It’s a lot of work and it won’t happen all at once, but we’re excited to share this news with the community. There’s much more to come so we invite you to stay tuned and be a part of the fun.
